Nieuwe drummer voor Job For A Cowboy

Jon "The Charn" Rice vervangt Elliott Sellers

Jon Rice drumt inmiddels een jaar of zeven. Nadat hij het eerste jaar aan Capital's Conservatory of Music afronde met Music Business als hoofdvak en Percussie als specialiteit, besloot Jon te kiezen voor een carière in muziek.

Nu hij met Job For A Cowboy de wereld mag rondtouren, komt een droom uit voor de drummer:

"For me it's a dream come true. It's one of those things where you take a chance and send a demo over and then your life is changed. I'm really looking forward to living on the road. I've lived in Pittsburgh forever and starting in a few weeks I will be living the dream and seeing the world."

Job For A Cowboy-gitarist Ravi Bhadriraju verklaart namens de groep dat ze blij zijn met Jon's drumvaardigheden en gedrevenheid:

"Jon's badass. His demo was awesome and we felt that after meeting and talking to other drummers that his personality fit best with ours. In addition to an awesome drummer, we needed someone who wants what we want and that is to tour as much as possible and he is down with that. We have no plans to stop and I'm glad we get to do that with the comfort of knowing we brought the right dude with us and that he feels the same."

Job For A Cowboy rondde onlangs de opnames af van het debuutalbum voor Metal Blade Records, dat voor de zomer van 2007 moet verschijnen.
