Yael Benzaken ingehuurd door Chris Caffery

Chris Caffery verklaart dat hij Yael gevraagd heeft op aanraden van producer en percussionist Nik Chinboukas en bassist Nick Douglas:

"[Yael] is a close friend of Nik and Nick and she kicks serious ass. I am really happy that she can come in and help us out. I am going to find a permanent drummer for the band, but I do not have the time now to audition and teach someone the songs."

Enkele dagen terug maakte Caffery bekend dat hij had besloten niet langer gebruik te maken van drummer Jeff Plate. Laatstgenoemde is te druk met zijn band Metal Church om aan de opnames te kunnen deelnemen. Caffery verklaarde dat het vertrek in goed overleg heeft platsgevonden:

"The best thing for both of us right now is for [Jeff] to focus on his new endeavors and for me to focus on my new CD. (...) Jeff and I are very close, there is no reason to flame or speculate on things further then what you read. We are still in two other bands together and plan on working on many other things in the future. Long after any of the music, there will be friends and Jeff will always be one of mine."

Chris Caffery's nieuwe solo-CD "Pins and Needles" moet naar verwachting eind 2006 verschijnen.
