Jerome Dillon officieel vertrokken bij NIN

De show in Hollywood Bowl op 1 oktober 2005 was de laatste die Jerome Dillon met Nine Inch Nails speelde. Dat schrijft Dillon in een bericht op het forum van zijn website.
"Contrary to many published reports in the music press, I want to make it clear that my departure from the band has absolutely nothing to do with my health. I've learned much about myself and those around me (particularly in the last month) and it's brought about many positive changes. My association with the organization has opened many doors — I'm grateful and I'm ready to move on. Although I appreciate the concern, I am not sick or recuperating. I feel great (physically and otherwise) and am playing the best drums of my life right now."
Terwijl Nine Inch Nails de tour voortzet met de Australische sessiedrummer Alex Carepetis op de drumkruk, legt Jerome Dillon de laatste hand aan de langverwachte release van zijn soloproject "nearLY".
Momenteel tourt NIN door de VS met Queens Of The Stone Age. Een tour door Zuid-Amerika gaat eind november van start.
Jerome Dillon is te horen op de laatste release van Afghan Whigs/Twilight Singers-frontman Greg Dulli, "Amber Headlights". Jerome speelt ook de drumpartijen in van het komende Twilight Singers-album dat begin 2006 uitkomt.
