New band for Matt Byers

Former Misery Index drummer Matt Byers has started a new band along with vocalist Vince Matthews (ex-Dying Fetus) and guitarist Bruce Greig (also ex-Dying Fetus, ex-Misery Index).
The group's sound is being described as "melodic, brutal death metal" and unlike that of either Dying Fetus or Misery Index.
Covenance have just completed work on their first demo. The band is expected to start shopping their new music to labels shortly.
