Soilwork-zanger maakt excuus aan drummer

Reden om publiekelijk in het stof te kruipen is dat de zanger vergeten was om Evensand toe te voegen aan de bedanklijst van het meest recente album van Soilwork, "Stabbing the Drama". Strid's verklaring luidt:

"I would like to take the time and make a statement about our former drummer Richard Evensand (who I still have frequent contact with). For some reason we forgot to put him on the thanx list of the new album and I really feel bad about it. I really don't have an explanation to this more than that we were really late with the thanx list for the album and it all became very stressed. I just wanna appologize to him and also tell you guys that there's no hard feelings between the band and him."

Strid en Evensand zijn nog steeds goede vrienden, ook al woont de drummer tegenwoordig in Australië.

Richard Evensand vertok bij Soilwork in december 2003 om bij Chimaira te gaan spelen. Daar werd hij in de zomer van 2004 vervangen door Kevin Talley, voormalig drummer van Misery Index, Dying Fetus en Suffocation.
