Marky Ramone ligt er zelfs bij Misfits uit

Voormalig Ramones-drummer Marky Ramone (echte naam: Marc Bell) maakt niet langer deel uit van The Misfits.
"I have been playing with Jerry Only from the Misfits and Dez from Black Flag, but I've decided that four years is enough. The last shows I will be doing with them will be in Mexico. I will be doing other things on my own, mainly Ramones-related business; I will finish my book, and I will be a DJ on Sirius Radio."
De achtergebleven bandleden van Misfits hebben aangegeven dat Marky Ramone tot eind april 2005 als 'special guest' en sessiedrummer zal blijven meespelen:
"Marky's final shows behind the kit with the Misfits will take place from April 1st in Sayerville, NJ at the Starland Ballroom up to and including the show on April 30th in Baltimore, MD. Marky's departure from touring with the Misfits is an amicable one and we wish him the best of luck."
Wie Marky gaat opvolgen is nog niet bekend, maar volgens de Misfits-leden vormt het vertrek van de drummer geen probleem:
"What's next for the Misfits...? Plans have already been in the works for some changes to come. We can't say much more until things are officially confirmed but look for announcements coming soon regarding the upcoming summer tour in Europe and more..."
