Dave Witte nieuwe drummer Municipal Waste

Metal/hardcore-drummer 'extraordinaire' Dave Witte is officieel toegevoegd aan de line-up van Municipal Waste. Eerder speelde Witte in bands als Human Remains, Discordance Axis, Melt-Banana en Burnt By The Sun.
"Dave Witte has officially joined the band and is now our full-time drummer. We're halfway through with writing material for the new album and things have been going a lot faster than ever."
Zelf voegt Dave Witte daaraan toe:
"I am an ultra whirlwind holocaust attack, stoked to join the Waste. It's a thrill to be a part of a band that is fun. Expect some serious thrashin' action."
Municipal Waste, afkomstig uit Richmond, blinkt uit in thrashcore met een stevige dosis humor. Naar eigen zeggen blazen de muzikanten met hun "blazing brand of thrash-infested hardcore" de cross-over uit de jaren tachtig nieuw leven in. Ze noemen onder meer D.R.I. , Suicidal Tendencies en Corrosion of Conformity als referentiepunten.
Begin dit jaar was de band op tour door Europa, en deden ze onder meer Nederland aan. Achter de drumkit zat sessiedrummer Barry (achternaam onbekend).
