Adam Sagan nieuwe drummer Into Eternity

Behalve Jim Austin stapte ook zanger Chris Krall op. De oorzaak van beider vertrek heeft "financiële redenen". Dat heeft Jim Austin bekendgemaakt via een bericht op het message board van de band:

"We simply have no money and need to work. Into Eternity needs to tour and we cannot afford to go right now. I have had an excellent seven years with the band and wish them all the best and hope to see this band have huge success and the recognition it deserves."

Opvolger Adam Sagan drumt zo'n dertien jaar, waarvan de laatste vier met zijn band Halcyon. Dat gezelschap gaf in januari van dit jaar het laatste optreden en is inmiddels opgeheven. Daarnaast is Dagan bekend als redacteur voor het Pit magazine. Sagan reageerde verheugd toen hij hoorde dat hij Jim Austin mocht vervangen:

""I have been aware of the band for years," says Adam, "and had missed seeing them live on three different occasions. When I received 'Buried In Oblivion' earlier this year I was blown away. This is music that I have always wanted to hear, classically influenced progressive death metal. Most impressive is that the band actually performs live the intricate vocal harmonies they record. I am really honored to be a part of the band (...)"

Gitarist Tim Roth betreurt het vertrek van Austin en Kroll, maar is bijzonder tevreden met de nieuwe drummer:

"We are really excited to be working with Adam, he’s an awesome drummer with great double bass. He catches on really quick and fits perfectly with the band. We are working really hard to get him up here full-time."

Met Sagan achter de drumkit speelt Into Eternity op het komende ProgPower festival in de VS. Daarna volgt een volledige Europese tour met onder meer Kataklysm.
