Dave Grohl te gast bij Nine Inch Nails

Dave Grohl, als drummer bekend van onder meer Nirvana en Queens of the Stone Age, heeft een gastbijdrage geleverd aan het nieuwe album van Nine Inch Nails.
Trent Reznor, het brein achter Nine Inch Nails, was bijzonder in zijn nopjes. Na de opnames verklaarde hij op nin.com:
"There is a much less refined approach to most of this record and I wrote a lot of the tracks envisioning powerful live drumming: enter Dave Grohl. Working with him has been one of the most inspiring and exciting experiences I've had in the studio. The tracks he's played on (all fifteen) have come alive in a 'better-than-I'd-even-hoped-for' type way. The rest of the music I'm playing myself."
Het nieuwe album, de opvolger van het dubbelalbum "The Fragile" uit 1999, krijgt de titel "Bleedthrough".
Rick Rubin draagt zorg voor de productie. Rubin is een veteraan met succesvolle albums op zijn naam van artiesten als de Red Hot Chili Peppers, Audioslave, Masters of Reality en Slayer.
