Eerste opnames ex-Atheist-drummer sinds 1991

De nummers zijn Flynn's eerste opnames sinds het legendarische Atheist-album "Unquestionable Presence" dat in 1991 werd opgenomen. Flynn heeft ruim de tijd genomen om de nieuwe songs te laten groeien alvorens ze op de wereld los te laten:

"When the music was refined to a point that it was ready to be heard, I let the cat out of the bag, so to speak, to my oldest friend — and co-founder of Atheist — Kelly Shaefer. Shaefer flew up to Atlanta and went into LedBelly Sound Studios with Gnostic to attend the sessions and lend his considerable experience to the effort."
