Nieuw contract en nieuw album voor Shadow Gallery

De progressieve powermetalband Shadow Gallery heeft een contract ondertekend bij InsideOut Music. De groep neemt momenteel het vijfde album op, dat de voorlopige titel "Room Five" heeft gekregen. Naar verwachting verschijnt de release begin 2005.
"As we begin to approach the later stages of recording, we are finding ourselves excited about our upcoming release. We remained quite busy after our last record, but took some time to team up with InsideOut, noting how much respect they had for their bands and visa-versa. I believe they are a good vehicle for our upcoming disc and look forward to working with them. We are ready to put some new music back in the hands of progressive rock fans this spring."
De tevredenheid is wederzijds: ook Thomas Waber, managing director van InsideOut Music is in zijn nopjes:
"We are glad, to finally have the chance to work with these guys. I bought their first album when it came out and have been a fan of the band ever since!"
In mei 2004 rondde Shadow Gallery al met de opnames van de opvolger van "Legacy", het album uit 2001. In eerste instantie zou drummer Joe Nevolo al in februari de drumtracks inspelen, maar wegens onvoorziene familieomstandigheden werden de opnames tot maart uitgesteld.
Mike Baker, de lead zanger van Shadow Gallery, verscheen overigens met een gastbijdrage op de meest recente Ayreon CD, "The Human Equation". Baker is te horen op het nummer "Day 16: Loser".
