The Accused: nieuw album en film in de maak

De legendarische 'splatter rockers' van The Accused zullen binnenkort starten met de opnames van hun nieuwe album.
Over het nieuwe materiaal schrifjt de band op de eigen website:
"The new stuff is the best stuff The Accuse has ever written. That is no joke. We are gelling together like we never were apart. The new material is face-lacerating, blood-soaked, hammer-to-the-temple bad-ass! Every worm-driven-saw-slice-to-the-spine riff and every eyelid-ripped-out-by-needle-nose-pliers scream is beyond belief. It could've been sad if we ended up just throwing some crappy pieces of whatever together and calling them songs. But we sure as hell didn't do that. This is the real deal, splatterheads."
Bovendien is de band in onderhandling met filmmaatschappij Warped Reality Pictures. Onderwerp van gesprek is het tot leven brengen van bandmascotte "Martha Splatterhead". Als het aan The Accused ligt, komt er een film van dit personage. Warped Reality Pictures heeft in het verleden cultproducties als "Cannibal Maniac" uitgebracht.
