Sengir recording 2nd album!
Belgium’s N° 1 Gothic rockers Sengir are currently working on the follow up for their highly acclaimed debut album “Guilty Water”. For the band, the release of “Guilty Water” (in February 2003) was the beginning of a more than successful series of gigs and tours (together with e.g. After Forever, Orphenage, Autumn, Trail Of Tears, Epica, Nightwish, …) in Belgium, the Netherlands and UK and playing the ‘Metal Female Voices Festival’ two times in a row (in 2003 & 2004). A few weeks ago, the band added (second) guitar player Frederik De Dobbeleer to their line-up.
The band entered the Midas studio’s in Lokeren (B), with Tony De Block, to start with the recordings what has to become the second full album for Sengir. Expect an October/November release for this long awaited second album.
Upcoming gigs include the Graspop festival on June, 24th and a headliner spot on the Melodic Metal Fest on July, 24th at Frontline in Gent. (May/05).
