"We chose to record the album ourselves in our own environment so it really was as relaxed or at times as stressful as we wanted it to be. (...) We recorded the album in our own studio on Long Island's Full Force studios. We produced it along with our soundman Joe Cincotta. This is definitely our preferred method of doing it at this stage. We weren't ready to fall into the hands of engineers or producers that are shaping the scene now. We know best what we want and expect out of the music. If it wasn't right it wasn’t leaving the studio."

Toen verscheen "Pierced From Within", met Doug Bohn op drums.

"As a musician I'm more influenced by jazz and classical than anything that's out today. Those are the two forms you can't just listen to and reproduce The talent involved is vast and seasoned .I prefer to study why they do what they do and transfer that into how I play deathmetal as opposed to recirculating the same rhythms and beats you hear in todays music. The bands on the radio and airways now all share a common talent and it shows."
