I need you to stick to the 2-bar groove and we're gonna put in some fills, without losing
the feel of the groove!

It is absolutely nescessary to keep the groove going, even when you play fills.
In fact, what is the use of playing drums if there ain't a groove happening? Then you're just making noise on the kit! So please, keep time at all times!

When you make play fills, be sure to come back at the same groove that you started with!
During the fill it's important to maintain the hihat off-beat.
