Another typical samba groove!
Imagine the bassdrum being played softly on the after beat (i.e. every 2nd and 4th beat).

To get the right sound you have to make sure that your brushes won't loose contact with the drumhead!

Once you feel comfortable playing the figure, try to add some little extra notes in double strokes to make it all sound like a "Samba".

Check out this groove and pay attention to the basics # 1 - 3 for the right instruments techniques and sound approach!
