The syncopated notes that I play (mainly with my left hand) give an extra feel to it. The accents that you play with your left hand should be "muffled" in order to get the short and staccato sound that fits best with this groove.

This groove saved me many times on unexpected jams and studio sessions when I had to play around with a lot of improvised ideas of the main artist. It helped me to get into a Latin type quickly and I could play it for hours without getting tired! No to speak about the great way how it sounds which, to my opinion, is more important! OK, let's cut the crap and let's PLAY!!

Check out this groove and pay attention to the basics # 1 - 3 for the right instruments techniques and sound approach!
