Nieuw album Cathedral op komst

Op 26 september brengt Nuclear Blast Records het nieuwe studioalbum van het Britse doomcollectief Cathedral uit.
Het nieuwe album bevat tien tracks en krijgt de titel "The Garden of Unearthly Delights" mee.
De release is geproduceerd door Warren Ryker (o.a. Down, Crowbar) en volgt het labum "VIIth Coming" uit 2002 op.
Nuclear Blast belooft dat de schijf gevarieerder is dan al het voorgaande werk en kondigt aan:
"Cathedral have achieved much more than simply living up to that reputation – the guys created timeless songs that couldn`t be farther away from standardisation, stagnation and convention.
Een voorproefje van het album kun je hier beluisteren. Het is de song Upon Azrael's Wings.
In 2004 bracht het label Earache nog een 'best of'-dubbelaar uit: "The Serpent`s Gold".
