Undeclinable is niet meer

De punkrockers van Undeclinable heeft na vier jaar werken het nieuwe album "Ambuscade" zo goed als af. Maar voordat de release uitgebracht wordt, blijkt de groep nu onverwachts ermee op te houden.
Op de Undeclinable-website schrijven de muzikanten:
"After four years of working on the new album, Jasper has decided to quit. The album called “Ambuscade” has already been recorded, but Jasper doesn’t have any motivation left to finish it. Skanne, Dennis, Jorg and Helmer feel really sorry that the process of writing lyrics and recording the vocals has turned out to be too big a task for Jasper. Because of this it is impossible to finish the album in the near future. This is the reason for the band as a whole to quit."
Drummer Jorg Smeets en de overige bandleden willen geen vervanger voor zanger Jasper zoeken:
"Because Undeclinable has always consisted of the same 5 people, we all feel that when one of us doesn’t want to continue with this band, replacement is not an option."
Er komen hoogstwaarschijnlijk geen afscheidsoptredens en of het reeds opgenomen materiaal alsnog uitkomt, is nog maar zeer de vraag.
Een zure nasmaak klinkt enigszines door in de laatste zin van de bandverklaring: "For now we just wanna try to move on and forget about this whole thing..."
