Nieuwe drummer voor Defiance

De heropgerichte thrashformatie Defiance uit San Francisco, met Steev Esquivel van Skinlab als frontman, heeft de toevoeging van een nieuwe drummer aangekondigd.
"Adding this final piece to the puzzle allows us to move forward with the EP which we have been working towards for the last six months. We hope to be able to solidify the arrangements over the next couple of months and head into the recording studio in the October/November timeframe..."
Definance is van plan om de EP in de Trident Studio's in Pacheco, Californië op te nemen.
Momenteel is de band op zoek naar geïnteresseerde platenlabels. Defiance bracht drie albums uit via Roadrunner. Hun debuut "Product of Society" verscheen in 1989, gevolgd door "Void Terra Firma" in het jaar daarop. In 1992 kwam "Beyond Recognition" uit.
Niet lang daarna onderging de groep een flink aantal wisselingen in de bezetting om uiteindelijk uit elkaar te vallen.
