One of my favorite ways of using the brushes on snare, is to play with a Latin feel.

As you might know a lot of stuff that we can learn comes from Latin music. All the great percussive arrangements, the syncopated feel, the suddens stops... it's all there!

The Samba grooves from Brazil are spectacular, and therefor I choose this type of groove to play with brushes on snare.

Check out this groove and pay attention to the basics # 1 - 3 for the right instruments techniques and sound approach!
