Basics 3: basic position

This time let's play with brushes! For all you drummers out there thinking "Hey man! I am not a jazz-drummer!", don't run away from these lessons. I am going to show you some interesting approaches that even rock drummers can use straight away.

On some occasions you might use brushes to get a lighter feel to the music that you're playing.

Using brushes gives you the opportunity to add a wide range of different sounds to your individual playing.

This basic shows you how to place your hands on the snare.
