They recorded together 17 years ago, and now blues legend BB King and U2 are hooking up once again.

Drummer Larry Mullen and his fellow members of U2 and King are reuniting to record a song for BB King's forthcoming album, scheduled for release later in 2005 through Universal.

King previously helped out U2 on the band's 1988 album "Rattle and Hum". Together, they recorded the song When Love Comes to Town.

BB King turns 80 on September 16th, 2005 and he's celebrating this by recording a new duets album with some other well-known artists. Along with U2, King plans to collaborate with Elton John, Van Morrison and Sting, among others.

On top of that, 13-time Grammy winner BB King will get his own museum in his home state of Mississippi. It’s a special 80th birthday gift from Mississippi’s largest public company for the man born Riley B. King but best known as "the king of the blues".
